Autumn 2019
How We Met
Autumn 2019. In a small Ulaanbaatar bookshop, we both reached for the last copy of the same poetry collection. Instead of letting it go, Battur suggested we read it together — the beginning of a conversation that has never really ended.
A Few Days Later
The First Date
A few days later we met at a little café just off Peace Avenue. A two-hour coffee stretched into the evening — and we later admitted we both walked home smiling.
Summer 2022
Roads Travelled Together
In the summer of 2022 we took our first long journey together, to Lake Khövsgöl. Watching the sunrise over the silver water, we spoke about the future out loud for the very first time.

A Home of Our Own
In 2024 we made our first home together — a small world that smells of morning coffee. It taught us that home is not walls, but the calm of being beside each other.
Autumn 2025
The Proposal
In the autumn of 2025, as the sun set over the golden hills of Terelj, Battur knelt and asked the question he had carried in his heart for years. Through happy tears, Ariunzaya said yes — and our greatest journey began.
